St. Louis folks, have you seen what's taking place above the Big Brothers Big Sisters building at the corner of Grand and Olive? It's a stunning rooftop and Chris and I were fortunate enough to get a sneak peek of the space tonight. Feast has a great article about the new ANEW Rooftop and Test kitchen which I recommend checking out. Anew's website describes it as two unique spaces: a rooftop and a test kitchen where chefs can, "share their latest creations and launch new concepts." Well, I'm sold. Can't wait to see who the first featured chef will be!
Tonight, Chris and I attended Bonfire, the preview party of Anew's Rooftop, presented by Feast! The weather was a gorgeous 65 degrees at sunset [beautiful, but also a little warm for my liking this late into October because I'm ready for scarves, hats, and all things cozy!] The event was sponsored by Feast, Bailey's Chocolate Bar, and Major Brands. As such, we were treated to specialty s'mores and cocktails. Bailey's made two types of homemade marshmallows and two types of homemade graham crackers this morning. Where is the heart eyes emoji when you need it!? To top off a great evening, we left with amazing coffee mugs as a parting gift!
The space was stunning and beautifully accented by the views from the floor to ceiling windows. The space was light and bright and perfect to host any event. The farm tables and metal chairs were a perfect addition. Since a picture is worth a 1,000 words, there's no point in describing it, I'll simply leave you with the photos below. I'm already jealous of all the people who will be renting this space for their parties, receptions, etc!
